We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our supportive district in Gainesville, GA, for the upcoming school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced SLPs and enthusiastic Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates to make a significant impact on students' lives.

Position Details:

  • Location: Gainesville, GA
  • Discipline: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Will Consider Hybrid (3 days onsite) or
  • SLP CFY (5 days onsite)
  • Caseload: K-12 students across 2 school sites
  • Setting: Onsite with potential for hybrid work (3 days onsite)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible, with positions typically aligning with the academic calendar.

    Job Duties:

    As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations.
  • Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
  • Providing direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to K-12 students.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and providing valuable insights.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to address a wide range of speech and language needs.

    Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLP License is required.
  • Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching Certification is required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented school environment.
  • For CFY candidates, strong mentorship and supervision will be provided by an experienced SLP.

    Compensation:

    We offer a competitive hourly rate of $45-$55 based on experience for this contract position.
