School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Cypress, TX

Compensation Packages

Local Candidates (Cypress area)

Pay Range: $53 – $64 per hour

Full-time school-based schedule

Weekly pay via direct deposit
Travel Candidates (open to relocation for the assignment)

Equivalent Pay Range: $64 – $73 per hour

Weekly Take-Home: approximately $1,884 – $2,087

Structured with a taxable hourly rate plus tax-free housing and meal stipends

School-Based SLP Job Duties
-
Provide direct therapy services to students across grade levels
-
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
-
Monitor and document student progress and adjust goals as needed
-
Consult with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student development

Ensure compliance with IDEA, state, and district guidelines
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for CFY supervision
-
Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance
-
Ability to pass background and fingerprint checks required by Texas schools
