A full-time contract opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide maternity leave coverage for elementary-aged students. This position is based in the northern Atlanta area, with assignments at one location each in Acworth and Woodstock, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to elementary school students in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia DOE certification.
- Active Georgia SLP license.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide full-time coverage, Monday through Friday, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
- Candidates must be certified SLPs; SLPA candidates will not be considered.
Additional Details:
- Position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year (last day May 22, 2026).
- This maternity leave coverage role offers ongoing support to one school within the Cherokee County School District.
- Part-time applications will not be considered.
