This position offers an opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services within a K-12 school setting in Porter Township, Indiana. The role involves working onsite across multiple schools to support a diverse caseload of approximately 80 students, including those in applied skills programs and general education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students across three school buildings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development
- Manage a caseload that includes both applied skills and general education students
- Flexibly split work time between schools within the district to meet service demands
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings, ideally with diverse student populations
- Strong skills in assessment, individualized therapy techniques, and progress monitoring
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and effectively prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
