Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Contract Position
Location: Eugene, OR

Setting: On-site at rural schools within the Junction City School District, supporting K-12 students
Position Overview:
This contract role involves providing specialized speech-language pathology services within a cooperative setting serving rural schools. The SLP will focus on supporting students’ communication needs, collaborating with school staff and other educational professionals to deliver effective interventions. Experience working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports
- Provide consultation and training to school personnel as needed to support student communication goals
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification/license required
- Relevant experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Experience managing challenging student behaviors is a plus
- Ability to work independently and adapt therapy strategies to diverse student needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
