A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage through June 12, 2026, located onsite in Creswell, OR. This full-time role supports students within a comprehensive Special Education Service Area dedicated to serving diverse student populations including those with moderate to severe disabilities, emotional and behavioral challenges, and adjudicated at-risk youth.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in a school setting
- Utilize low and high-tech augmentative communication systems to support student needs
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student and staff information
- Comply with all relevant policies, including holding valid First Aid/CPR certification if required
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communication Disorder Endorsement and/or Oregon state SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with students with moderate and severe disabilities highly desired
- Familiarity with augmentative communication systems preferred
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License required
- Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to work collaboratively
Location: This position is based onsite in Creswell, Oregon.
