A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting in Cottage Grove, OR. This contract opportunity runs for the current school year (CSY) and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver therapy sessions aimed at improving speech and language skills
- Monitor and document progress to ensure effective intervention
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to coordinate care
- Involve and educate families to support therapy goals at home
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Oregon
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Additional Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Oregon
- Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
