Speech and Language Pathologist in Springfield, OR
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in Springfield, OR. This role supports the communication and speech development of students within a school setting for the current school year (CSY).
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in schools preferred
- Skilled in providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech and language disorders
- Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location: Springfield, Oregon – K-12 educational environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students and school staff
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
- Support compliance with educational and legal standards related to speech therapy services
