Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to approximately 50 students with diverse moderate to severe disabilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and progress
- Write and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals aligned with student development
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to collaborate on student plans
- Work closely with special education staff and families to support student outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience providing school-based speech therapy, especially in special education
- Ability to manage and support a caseload of students with varying communication disorders
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and developing IEP documentation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and other providers
Schedule Details:
- Full-time: 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM during the current school year
- Part-time: 7:45 AM – 1:15 PM starting June 15 for the 8-week contract duration
