School Speech Language Pathologist - Cranston, Rhode Island
This contract opportunity is for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Providence, RI. The position is available immediately with an anticipated end date of June 16, 2026. Both part-time and full-time hours will be considered based on the candidate’s availability and district needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned caseloads
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification (CCC preferred) with state licensure for Rhode Island
- Experience working in a school setting, K-12 preferred
- In-person service delivery is preferred to best support student outcomes
- Ability to manage varying caseloads based on district requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location: Providence, Rhode Island – in-person with some flexibility around part-time or full-time schedules.
