A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve K-12 students in a school district located in Cranston, RI. This contract role covers the school year and offers an opportunity to work district-wide based on student needs, with a caseload of up to 40 students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students to support their communication needs.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) or equivalent.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) preferred.
- Experience or certification to work in school settings (SLP - School).
- Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable to support diverse student populations.
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 40 students effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
