Speech Pathology - Cottage Grove, OR
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available on a contract basis in Eugene, OR, providing leave coverage through June 12, 2026. This onsite role is situated within a Special Education Service Area that supports a diverse student population including those with moderate to severe disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, and adjudicated at-risk youth.
Responsibilities include delivering direct speech-language services, supporting students with various communication needs, and collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The role requires adaptability in working with augmentative communication technologies and behavior consultation efforts.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communication Disorder Endorsement and/or Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience serving students with moderate and severe disabilities preferred
- Familiarity with low- and high-tech augmentative communication systems preferred
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification may be required
