Speech Pathology - Eugene, OR
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support rural schools within a cooperative agreement in the Junction City School District. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to K-12 students in a collaborative educational environment.
Location:
- Eugene, OR (On-site only)
Position Details:
- Contract duration: ASAP through June 12, 2026
- Hours: Approximately 8 hours per week
- Caseload: Serving rural schools within the district, focusing on individualized student needs
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification is required
- Experience working in school settings (K-12) preferred
- Familiarity with managing challenging behaviors is a strong asset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with educators and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by educational and state guidelines
