This position involves providing speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Cottage Grove, OR, on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). The role focuses on evaluation, treatment, and collaboration to support students with speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Provide therapy sessions aimed at achieving specific speech and language goals
- Monitor and maintain detailed records of student progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care
- Engage families as active participants in the therapy process, offering education and support
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Oregon
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Must be approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology for licensure in Oregon
