A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting in Cottage Grove, OR. This contract opportunity runs for the current school year (CSY) and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Deliver therapy sessions aimed at improving speech and language skills
  • Monitor and document progress to ensure effective intervention
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to coordinate care
  • Involve and educate families to support therapy goals at home

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Oregon
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Additional Requirements:

  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Oregon
  • Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
