Job Overview – What You’ll Do:
-
Provide speech-language therapy services to students in a school-based environment
-
Develop treatment plans and IEP goals based on assessments and evaluations
-
Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Work collaboratively with general education and special education staff
-
Track student progress, document therapy sessions, and attend IEP meetings as needed
Qualifications & Certifications (Texas Requirements):
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
-
Current license through the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
-
Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification may be required depending on the district
-
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
-
