Key Qualifications:
- Current Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and relevant documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple school sites while managing a consistent caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the IEP team
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with state, federal, and local guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student success
- Offer consultation and support to school staff and parents regarding speech and language development
- Manage caseload efficiently across 1-2 elementary locations
