Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services to students across diverse age groups
Required Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Tennessee Board of Health license in speech-language pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children across various grade levels
- Strong knowledge of special education procedures and compliance requirements
Location and Work Environment:
This role is based in Memphis, TN, with assignments potentially spanning multiple schools within the district. The position requires 35 hours per week onsite with no remote or hybrid options available.
This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in supporting students’ communication development while gaining valuable experience in an educational setting. Immediate availability is preferred, with the contract continuing through late May 2026.
