A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) opportunity is available at an elementary school in San Tan Valley, AZ, with a contract-to-hire arrangement extending through the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves providing speech-language services to elementary school students in a supportive, single-site setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students with various communication disorders
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Manage a caseload capped at 57 students, including approximately 15 Speech-Language Impairment (SLI) only students
- Collaborate with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who supports onsite two days per week
Qualifications:
- Arizona SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must have professional experience with pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology services
- No CF candidates or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) eligible for this role
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- School hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Wednesday from 8:00 AM – 12:45 PM
- Elementary age group
- Work location within an elementary school setting in San Tan Valley, AZ
