A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on school-based services. This role involves providing specialized speech and language support to elementary and preschool students across multiple campuses in Conway, Arkansas. The position is a contract role lasting through the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 36-40 students, including preschool-aged children.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff across 3-4 campuses to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care and support for students.
- Adhere to all applicable state licensure and school regulations for speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license is required; candidates within their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will also be considered.
- Experience working in school settings preferred, with a caseload that includes preschool and elementary students.
- Strong skills in childhood speech and language assessment and intervention.
- Ability to manage multiple campuses and flexible caseloads.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with school personnel and families.
