In this contract role, you’ll provide dedicated care and impactful therapy for students, working approximately 15 hours per week from August 3rd, 2026, through May 28th, 2027.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure as required for Texas schools
- Previous experience within a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
- Dedication to fostering positive outcomes for diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, track progress, and prepare required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
