Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Conroe, TX
Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a Conroe, Texas school district. This full-time role is ideal for clinicians passionate about helping children improve their communication skills and thrive academically. Both local and travel candidates are welcome to apply.
Compensation Packages
Local Candidates (commuting within Conroe)

Hourly Pay Range: $48 – $55/hr

Estimated Weekly Take-Home: $1690 – $1900 (after estimated taxes)

Weekly pay with direct deposit
Travel Candidates (open to relocation for the assignment)

Base taxable hourly rate plus tax-free stipends for housing and meals

Equivalent Hourly Range: $58 – $67/hr (when stipends are included)

Weekly Take-Home: $1690 – $1900

Job Responsibilities

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students

Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and track student progress

Collaborate with general and special education staff to support student needs

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility prior to start date)

ASHA certification (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply

Ability to pass background and district onboarding checks
