Compensation Packages
Local Candidates (Hourly Pay): $40-$46
Travel Candidates (Weekly Take-Home Pay): $1417-$1642

SLP Clinical Fellow Job Duties

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments under the supervision of a licensed mentor

Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)

Provide speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

Document student progress and communicate results with supervising SLPs and IEP teams

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning with support
-
Adhere to professional guidelines while receiving supervision and mentorship

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
Federal and State Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Eligibility for Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow

Strong commitment to completing Clinical Fellowship requirements

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and other applicable education laws

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Texas school districts
