School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Conroe, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract Options
Pay Range: $38–$52+/hour (depending on experience and employment path)
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a partner school district in the Conroe, TX area. This full-time opportunity is open to both local professionals looking for a consistent school-year role and travel clinicians exploring short-term, flexible contracts with competitive compensation.
Position Summary:
As a vital member of the student services team, you will deliver speech-language therapy to students ranging from preschool to high school. You will collaborate with educators, participate in IEP planning, and provide direct services to support student communication development and academic success.

2. Travel Path (W-2 with Perks or 1099 Contract):

Weekly gross: $1,700–$2,100, including tax-free stipends for eligible travelers

Weekly pay: $45–$52+/hour, depending on qualifications and contract terms
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech-language therapy to K–12 students in one-on-one and group settings

Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret findings

Collaborate on IEP creation and support progress monitoring

Maintain documentation in compliance with Texas state and district requirements

Partner with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Texas SLP License (or eligibility for expedited licensure)

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows with strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply

Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred

Must pass state and district background checks
