Pediatric Speech Therapist in Concord, NH
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a middle school setting located in Concord, NH, serving students in grades 2 through 6. This role involves providing direct speech therapy services on-site three days per week—Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—from 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM. The position is intended as an interim arrangement to support students while the current part-time speech pathologist is on leave, with an anticipated return in early February, though the duration may be extended based on circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 25 students in grades 2-6.
- Collaborate with school staff and other professionals to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with school policies.
- Maintain a supportive and engaging environment to facilitate student communication development.
- Coordinate with another speech pathologist responsible for assessment and testing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials, preferably with school setting experience.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology is highly desirable.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially school-aged children.
- Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Ability to deliver compassionate and effective speech therapy services in a school environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
