A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC-SLP credential is needed for a travel position in Concord, CA, supporting school-aged students. This role focuses on enhancing communication skills and fostering academic and social growth within the school environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to monitor and encourage student progress
- Supporting literacy development and contributing to curriculum planning
- Identifying at-risk students and assisting with early intervention services
- Maintaining detailed and compliant documentation and reporting
- Providing supervision and mentorship to student clinicians, clinical fellows, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain certification
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, though candidates with other related experience are encouraged to apply
