Speech Language Pathologist CCC/ CFY

Duties
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Provide direct therapy sessions to improve speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing functions.
Educate patients and their families about communication strategies, exercises, and home programs to support ongoing progress.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, audiologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay current with advances in speech therapy techniques, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and anatomy to enhance clinical effectiveness.
Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience in speech therapy across various populations and settings is preferred.
Strong knowledge of physiology related to speech production and swallowing mechanisms.
Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy relevant to communication disorders.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and educate patients of all ages.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
