Speech-Language Pathologist - Teletherapy Position | Columbus, OH
We're actively recruiting a skilled speech-language pathologist to provide virtual therapy services to Ohio students!! This remote position combines the flexibility of working from home with the rewarding experience of helping students achieve their communication goals.
Position Details Your caseload will consist of approximately 45 students across elementary grade levels, focusing on a range of speech and language needs... You'll work 37.5 hours per week delivering therapy sessions, completing evaluations, writing reports, and collaborating with school teams through virtual platforms.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Writing detailed evaluation reports with recommendations
- Developing appropriate IEP goals based on assessment results
- Providing individual and group therapy sessions via teletherapy platform
- Monitoring and documenting student progress toward IEP goals
- Attending virtual IEP meetings and collaborating with educational teams
- Communicating with parents regarding student progress and home strategies
- Maintaining accurate records and meeting all documentation deadlines
- Providing consultation to teachers about speech-language accommodations
Required Credentials: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required | Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence | Valid Ohio speech-language pathology license | Minimum of 2 years experience working in schools | Comfortable using technology and virtual platforms | Strong internet connection and professional home workspace
Student Needs: Your students will require support across various areas including articulation disorders, language impairments (both expressive and receptive), phonological processing, fluency/stuttering, and pragmatic/social communication skills. You'll have the opportunity to work with engaged learners and collaborate with dedicated educators!
