A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide coverage for two maternity leaves at a K-12 school in Dublin, OH. This position offers a unique chance to support students across multiple grade levels and settings, including elementary and preschool environments.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students ranging from preschool to elementary grades.
- Collaborate with educators and specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress effectively.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse communication needs in both classroom and therapy settings.
- Maintain compliance with school policies and professional standards.
Position Details:
- Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY).
- Maternity Leave Coverage #1: January 5, 2026 – March 27, 2026. Schedule includes 3 days at an elementary school and 2 days at a preschool center. Followed by April 13, 2026 – June 1, 2026, with 4 days per week at the preschool center.
- Maternity Leave Coverage #2: February 20, 2026 – May 7, 2026. Schedule includes 2.25 days at an elementary school supporting a cross-category classroom, 2.5 days at a preschool, and an additional 0.5 day at another preschool.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification appropriate for school settings.
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments.
- Strong ability to manage caseloads across different age groups.
- Knowledge of cross-category classroom needs and preschool therapy approaches.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
