Columbus City Schools is actively seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their student support services team. This full-time, school-based position allows you to make a measurable impact by improving speech, language, and social communication outcomes for students across various grade levels.
Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and provide therapeutic services aligned with each student’s educational goals and individualized education program (IEP).
Responsibilities:

Conduct speech-language evaluations and write reports
-
Deliver therapy services in 1:1 and group settings
-
Create and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
-
Address communication challenges including fluency, articulation, language development, and pragmatics
-
Attend IEP meetings and consult with school staff and families
-
Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Ohio SLP License
-
Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License (for SLPs)
-
CCC-SLP preferred
-
Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
-
Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
