Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special needs
- Help manage classroom behavior and enforce classroom policies
- Build strong and effective relationships through communication with students, family, and staff
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth in a positive and encouraging environment
- Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, hallways, and recess
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with children in an education setting required
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Special Education students preferred
- Must pass background checks and meet Ohio certification requirements
