An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across grades K-12 in a Columbus, NE school setting. This contract position runs through the current school year, providing full-time hours to serve a caseload of approximately 65-75 students. The role requires onsite work to effectively collaborate with educators and provide individualized therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to support student success
- Participate in meetings and comply with all school and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Nebraska
- Experience working within school settings with K-12 students
- Strong caseload management skills, capable of handling up to 75 students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time and engage with the school community
Location: Columbus, Nebraska
Schedule: 40 hours per week, onsite
