What You'll Bring:
- Active North Carolina SLP licensure and ASHA Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering school-based speech-language therapy
- Experience with PK speech/language services and working with self-contained classrooms
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations, screenings, and writing IEPs
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing is a plus, but not required
- SLPA applicants will also be considered
Role Details and Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to preschool-aged children as well as students in two self-contained classrooms
- Conduct thorough student evaluations and screenings to assess communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual requirements
- Document progress and collaborate with fellow educators and families to support student goals
- Participate in Medicaid billing activities, if experienced
Assignment Highlights:
- 12-week maternity leave coverage
- Immediate start available, with assignment running through mid-May
- Monday to Friday schedule, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
