Speech Language Pathologist in Columbus, GA

As an SLP in this contract position, you’ll work on-site with a school-based caseload tailored to your expertise and aligned with district requirements. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with the possibility of some pre and post-planning days to ensure a smooth start and finish. SLP-CFYs are welcomed and encouraged to apply—this is a fantastic setting to hone skills and gain valuable school-based experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Georgia SLP License and Georgia PSC Educator Certification (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP-CFY applicants considered
- Background in school-based therapy, IEPs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for making a positive impact on K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and interventions for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records consistent with school and state requirements
- Participate in planning and team meetings as needed
