Blazer Jobs is partnering with school systems across Georgia to recruit skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–2026 academic year. Position Overview
Speech-Language Pathologists in Georgia schools provide essential support to students with speech, language, and communication challenges, helping them succeed academically and socially. You’ll serve students from various grade levels, assist with special education assessments, and play a key role in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
We are currently hiring in several districts, including Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, Athens, and nearby communities.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations following Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) guidelines

Deliver individual and group therapy services based on IEP objectives

Create and maintain treatment plans compliant with state and federal regulations

Track student progress and ensure documentation meets all reporting requirements

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals

Provide supervision to SLP Assistants as permitted under Georgia licensure rules
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field

Current or eligible for a Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license
-
Knowledge of IDEA, IEP procedures, and school-based therapy practices

Previous experience working in school settings preferred

Must pass district background checks and fingerprinting
