Full Time School Speech Language Pathologist Position
Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist – School-Based Role in Columbus, GA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Columbus, GA area. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student communication, academic performance, and overall success in the school setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
All applicants must meet the following state and local requirements to be considered for this position:

A Master’s degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
-
A current and active Georgia state license to practice Speech Language Pathology, issued by the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or be eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF) under supervision
-
Previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school-based or pediatric setting
-
Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting clearance as required by the Georgia Department of Education and school district policies
-
Completion of any additional onboarding, training, or credentialing required by the specific school district
Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication needs
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student communication goals
-
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
-
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team collaboration
