Travel Speech and Language Pathologist in Columbiana, AL
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought to provide specialized support across three separate schools in Columbiana, Alabama. This travel position requires working onsite to address the diverse communication needs of students in middle and high school settings.
Location: Columbiana, Alabama (onsite travel position covering multiple schools)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students at multiple school sites
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Conduct assessments to diagnose communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations pertaining to special education
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for a variety of speech and language disorders
- Ability to manage caseload across multiple school locations efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Schedule:
