School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Pelham, Alabama
A Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting, serving multiple schools within the district. This contract role offers a dynamic caseload spread across three schools, providing the opportunity to impact the communication development of a diverse student population.
Location:

Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC credentials
- Experience working in school settings (K-12 preferred)
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and students
Position Details:
- Duration: Current School Year contract through May 2025
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload split between three schools: Chelsea Middle, Chelsea High, and Columbiana Middle
- Onsite position requiring travel between assigned schools
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments
- Provide direct therapy services to students in compliance with state and federal education regulations
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student communication needs in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
