A contract opportunity is available from January 5, 2026 to May 22, 2026 for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services at an elementary school located in Lewisburg, TN. This part-time role offers approximately 20-25 hours per week, supporting young learners aged 4 to 6.
Responsibilities include delivering speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 students, maintaining and updating Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFPs), writing goals for related services students, and attending meetings as necessary. The SLP will also serve as the case manager for about 10 direct service students and perform required testing to assess student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification and credentials; preference given to candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Ability to support Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered, though CCC preferred
- Experience working with early childhood populations (ages 4-6)
- Strong skills in assessment, goal-setting, and individualized service planning
- Effective communication and collaboration to work with educators, families, and other professionals
