Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Columbia, SC
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-26 school year, located approximately 30 minutes northeast of Columbia, SC. This role is based in an elementary school setting and offers a standard 37.5-hour work week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students, addressing a range of communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY).
- Experience working in school-based environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with students, staff, and families.
