Job Overview
Full-time, school-based travel role in a Columbia district. You’ll provide therapy, coordinate with educators and families, and help students thrive. Assignments align with the academic calendar, with extension or reassignment possibilities.
What Does a Travel Contract Mean?**
Travel SLP contracts are temporary—typically semester or full-year assignments. You’ll serve districts in need while receiving non-taxed housing and meals/incidental stipends, competitive pay, and flexibility to choose your next location. Extensions or renewals may be available.
Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations per district guidelines

Design and implement individualized IEP goals

Provide therapy in both individual and group settings

Track student progress and maintain documentation

Collaborate with teachers and parents to support communication development

Participate in IEP and team meetings
Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Missouri SLP licensure (or eligibility before start)

CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates welcome

Examples of school/pediatric experience a plus
