An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated SLP in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is tailored for individuals with specialized skills in providing speech-language pathology services to students, ensuring their communication needs are effectively met.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred (CFs encouraged to apply) 
  • Experience working with K-12 students 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of various speech and language disorders
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students' speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding student progress
  • Offer guidance and support to staff and families regarding communication disorders

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
