Remote SLP Consultant Colorado K12 Schools
We are currently contracting with experienced SLPs to serve as remote consultants for Colorado school districts. This is a 1099 opportunity for professionals who prefer a consultative approach and are comfortable supporting staff with implementation guidance, evaluations, and limited direct therapy. You will play a vital role in ensuring legal compliance and instructional quality while operating entirely remotely. Ideal candidates have experience in supervisory or mentorship roles and are skilled in school-based documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide virtual consultation on speech and language programming

Support staff with IEP development and compliance questions

Conduct virtual assessments and contribute to eligibility reports

Guide teachers and aides in implementing communication strategies

Review and co-author IEPs for speech/language services

Monitor student data and offer intervention recommendations

Attend virtual MDT and IEP meetings as needed

Collaborate with district leadership remotely

Offer professional development or coaching via video sessions

Advise on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools

Ensure district compliance with IDEA and state requirements

Document consultative notes in school systems

Serve as a liaison for difficult-to-staff locations

Recommend service models and scheduling frameworks

Support due process and audit preparedness efforts

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
