Speech Language Pathologist in Collierville, TN
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students within a Tennessee school district. This contract role runs through the 2025-2026 school year, providing an opportunity to work directly on-site in a dynamic educational environment serving a diverse age range from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Location:
- On-site work based in schools located in Memphis and Collierville, TN
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education (DOE) certification as an SLP
- Valid Tennessee Board of Health license
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and developing IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Work Details:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Contract duration: ASAP start through May 21, 2026 (end of school year)
- Assignments may vary across multiple schools within the district
