We are actively seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Bilingual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a rewarding contract opportunity in Bastrop, Texas, for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Your Impact in Bastrop, TX:
You will serve 1-2 elementary schools (Early Education - 5th grade), providing crucial bilingual (Spanish/English) speech and language services. Your vital duties will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
- Delivering direct and indirect speech and language therapy services.
- Collaborating seamlessly with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to foster student success.
- Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation of student progress.
- Actively participating in ARD meetings and collaborative team efforts.
Qualifications:
- Active educator license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is required.
- Must be willing to obtain licensure in the working state (Texas, for this role).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is essential for this position.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
