Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Contract
Location: Coldwater, MI
Position Type: Full-Time, Contract
Blazer Jobs is interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time contract position in Coldwater, MI. This school-based role serves a K–5 caseload, providing the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and staff to support communication development and academic growth. Renewal opportunities may be available based on performance while on contract.
Position Requirements:

Must meet all requirements established by local and state regulations
-
Current Michigan SLP license and certification (CFs and CCCs considered)
-
Previous school-based experience preferred
-
Strong background working with special education students and families is highly valued
Responsibilities:
-
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students K–5
-
Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress toward goals
-
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
-
Maintain accurate documentation and prepare progress reports as required
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and supports
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to promote student achievement
-
Share strategies and resources with families and staff to reinforce communication skills
