Position Description:
Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a K-12 school setting near Coalinga, CA. The SLP will assess, plan, and deliver speech-language interventions for students (ages 3–22) with communication disorders, collaborate with teachers and IEP teams, support inclusive education settings, and maintain appropriate documentation.
Essential Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders

Experience working with children in a school setting

Valid California credentials/licensure:
-
Either a valid CA Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential (via California Commission on Teacher Credentialing) for public school work, or
-
A valid CA license issued by the California Speech?Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB) for SLP practice
-
Ability to conduct assessments, write reports, develop IEP goals, implement interventions, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Background clearance/fingerprinting as required by California schools
State-Specific Requirements (California):

To practice as an SLP in schools you must hold the SLP Services Credential (issued by the CTC) unless the school district accepts a valid SLP license only.

For licensure by SLPAHADB: Master’s degree from an accredited program, approx. 300 hours supervised clinical practicum, pass the Praxis exam (score ~162) and complete required professional experience (36 weeks full-time) under temporary license.
