Job Description:
The Coalinga-Huron Unified School District is currently seeking five (5) full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our dynamic Special Education team for the 2025–2026 school year. These are school-based positions serving a range of age groups, with manageable caseloads and strong support from site teams and district staff.

Available Positions & Caseloads:

Preschool/Adult Transition Students – Caseload: 45

Grades 2–3 – Caseload: 55

Grades 4–5 – Caseload: 55

Grades 6–8 (Middle School) – Caseload: 55

Grades 9–12 (High School) – Caseload: 55
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide speech and language therapy to students based on IEP goals
-
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
-
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families and educational teams

Maintain appropriate documentation and progress reports
-
Support inclusive practices and collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists
Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Valid California SLP License or eligibility for licensure (or CCC-SLP)
-
ASHA Certification (preferred but not required)

Previous school-based experience is a plus, but new grads are welcome to apply

Location:
Coalinga is a friendly and affordable Central Valley community located between Fresno and the Central Coast — an ideal location for those who enjoy small-town living with access to both urban and coastal attractions.
Compensation for this position ranges from $55 to $60 per hour. We pay for direct and indirect services. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
