Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Clovis, CA
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position serving K-12 students in a dynamic school district in Clovis, CA. This role requires a dedicated professional with experience in California school settings, providing speech and language support to diverse student populations.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP - CCC certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within California schools.
- At least 1 year of experience with Special Education Information System (SEIS).
- Experience supervising SLP Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators preferred.
- Proven ability to manage high caseloads and referrals efficiently.
- Candidates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year are encouraged to apply.
- Onsite presence required.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, including 25-30 speech-only students.
- Collaborate with educational teams and support staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Manage, mentor, and supervise SLPAs where applicable.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Engage with families and staff to support student progress.
Position Details:
- Location: Clovis, CA.
- Job Type: Full-time, school year contract.
- Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week.
- Caseload: One full-time opening.
- Onsite only (no remote work).
