A K-12 school in Clovis, CA is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathology professionals for a contract position beginning on February 26th for the current school year (CSY). This opportunity is ideal for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with experience in educational settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in an on-site school environment
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise regarding student communication goals
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as an SLP with CCC or as an SLPA suitable for school settings
- Experience working with K-12 students in a schools environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and maintain thorough records
