Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Clinton, SC
A K-12 school district in South Carolina is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for students across multiple locations, primarily focusing on elementary schools and potentially incorporating itinerant models including daycares. This contract role runs through the current school year, ending May 30, 2026, with a flexible start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students primarily in elementary and preschool age groups
- Manage caseloads that are typically mild to mixed in severity and always under the state maximum of 60 students
- Provide services across variable locations, ideally within an elementary school or a combination of facilities, including itinerant service settings
- Maintain compliance with all state requirements and school policies pertaining to speech-language services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to support student progress
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to provide both direct and consultative speech therapy services
- Flexibility to work variable hours, up to 7.5 hours per day and a maximum of 37.5 hours per week
Location: Services will be provided primarily in Greenwood and surrounding areas, including Clinton, SC.
