Pediatric Speech Therapist in Clinton, NC
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time contract position in Clinton, NC, serving a K-12 school setting. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite, providing essential speech and language support to students during the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide evidence-based therapy services tailored to each student’s needs within the school environment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in healthcare settings and pediatrics preferred.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for eligible candidates.
- Proven background in school-based SLP services, especially K-12 populations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
