School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Closter, New Jersey
A contract position is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a school’s Extended School Year (ESY) program in Closter, New Jersey. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to PreK students, with a commitment spanning from July 6, 2026, through July 31, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to PreK students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators and staff to monitor student progress and adapt interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the educational team and families.
- Participate actively in the ESY program, ensuring continuity of care during summer months.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid New Jersey license as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Prior experience working with young children in a school setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Availability for morning sessions, ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with schedule flexibility considered.
